If I had not been a fan of Modi Toys already, I am an even bigger fan after this purchase. Especially blown over by your customer service team. I bought the bundle for my young nieces, and these are total hits with them. I hear from my cousins that they keep carrying their individual devtas with them and cannot stop making them sing! I have requested photos and videos and will totally share those on my social media while tagging you. A HUGE THANK YOU AGAIN!

Disrespectful

I was told by my sister in law that the toys are disrespectful and the gods aren’t meant to be drooled on by children. She has a valid point and I’m embarrassed by my purchase. The company would not take a return because they were removed from the plastic bag.

Durga Devi Collection

A great learning tool (not to mention cuteness overload)

We love every Modi Toy stuffie. This one in particular is just so adorable and well made. I think it’s a great learning resource too. We were FaceTiming my nephew and my son was excited to show his new Durga Devi to him and my 20 year nephew recognized her immediately because of the lion and explained to my 5 year old why she has that particular animal and the significance of her trident. It was cute watching them discuss what they know and how deep their roots are to their religion. While simple in nature, the Devi dolls are useful tools in bridging the connection between different generations. Kids draw on the strengths of what these dolls embody (strength, fearlessness, bravery, etc.) and act accordingly.

Representation Matters!

I have been buying these plushes since it’s first release. Both my toddler and new baby have the full collection as well as my nieces/nephews, and I will continue to buy as gifts.
