Marketing Assistant - Part Time (Virtual or Princeton, NJ)

Modi Toys has grown organically through word-of-mouth since launching in August 2018, but millions of people are still unaware of this emerging space for first-generation South Asian parents seeking to find innovative and simple ways to immerse their children into their culture. We want to change that.
About You:
If you are a self-starter looking to dive right in to a growing brand, and love to take ownership of projects from start to finish, then this role may be for you. If you love to tell stories -- in all types of mediums from blogging, Reels to email -- and can find unique ways to connect with people, then this role may be for you. If you open the emails that normally end up in your "Promotions" Gmail tab "just for fun" to see what new marketing tactics are being delpoyed, then you're the kind of person we're looking for. Job Responsibilities:

Work directly with the Head of Marketing to strategize and execute campaigns across all stages of the marketing funnel

Optimize the website to increase sales through new features and functions that can be added to Shopify

Improve page ranking by managing SEO for products and pages

Launch SMS campagin via website, email and Instagram to build and grow the list. Optimize campaign to improve CTR and revenue.

Build email segments in Klaviyo. Craft a series of emails for respective flows that result in an above-average open and CTR.
- Manage keywords and paid ads on Amazon
- Analyze website analytics to uncover trends and opportunities

Submit applications for a wide range of Certifications, competitions, grants, etc.

Brainstorm and execute content for blogs, emails, Instagram Reels

Edit blogs for website, Op-Eds, essays, etc.

Assess the feasibility of new marketing channels such as, TV ads, Affiliate marketing, Partner marketing and establish a presence by from start to finish

Develop a strategy for Influencer marketing with a potential Ambassador Program

Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week

Minimum 3 years of experience in consumer or e-commerce marketing, with a focus on driving engagement, retention and ROI

BA/BS or similar college level education
- Comfortable creating assets in Canva, In Shot, Photoshop
